Polymeric Sand Calculator, How Many Bags Do You Need
Enter your paver size, joint width and joint depth, and the calculator works out the joint volume per square foot, the coverage of a 10, 20 or 50 lb bag of Rhino Power Bond Plus at your dimensions, and the number of bags to order with a 10 percent waste allowance. Then add the bags to your cart.
1. Your area
2. Joint and paver dimensions
Paver size matters as much as joint width: small pavers carry far more linear feet of joint per square foot than large slabs.
3. Bag size and color
Your estimate
Rhino's published coverage, for comparison: 50 lb bag 55 to 75 sq ft on narrow joints, 20 to 30 sq ft on wide joints up to 2 in; 20 lb and 10 lb bags scaled by weight. The published range is broad and measured on a reference paver; the project estimate above is built from the paver size and joint dimensions you entered, so it reads higher for large slabs and lower for small pavers. Order from the project estimate and use the range as a sanity check. Coverage is reduced over an open graded base.
